Changing the Immigrants’ Rights Landscape: A Conversation with UndocuBlack

Thursday, May 31 2018 - 10:00 am to 12:00 pm

Access Living, 115 West Chicago Avenue

The UndocuBlack Network (UBN) is a multigenerational network of currently and formerly undocumented Black people that fosters community, facilitates access to resources, and contributes to transforming the realities of Black immigrants.

UndocuBlack’s fearless co-founder and national network leader, Jonathan Jayes-Green, will lead a conversation about the Black immigrant community and current UndocuBlack campaigns. Jonathan will be joined by Becky Belcore of the National Korean American Services & Education Consortium (NAKASEC) to discuss the importance of building cross-community coalition relationships and partnerships.

This event is co-sponsored by the Crossroads Fund, Chicago Community Trust, Illinois Immigration Funders Collaborative, NAKASEC, and the Woods Fund of Chicago.

We hope you can join us for this special event!
